Fund my Community
What is Fund My Community ?
Fund My Community is a $1 million grant program that will fund projects to measurably improve the wellbeing of isolated, vulnerable or disadvantaged South Australians.
But it's unlike most other government grant programs, as in Fund My Community citizens decide what projects gets funded. Involving citizens in decision-making has multiple benefits and allows the program to have the greatest impact.
Project Details
From Monday 1 February 2016, non-government, not-for-profit community organisations will be able to apply for grants of between $10,000 and $100,000 (plus GST).
See the Get involved page for more information about how you can participate.
Project Eligibility
To be eligible for funding, an organisation must be non-government, not-for-profit, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 and have a registered Australian Business Number (ABN). In addition, the organisation must provide social welfare and help for disadvantaged individuals, families or communities in need in South Australia.
A local council can apply on behalf of a separately managed community group for the group to deliver a project.
