Street Corner Meetings: Largs Bay

Thank you to all the residents who turned up to my Street Corner Meetings in Largs Bay over the weekend. Street Corner Meetings offer a great changes for me to meet face-to-face with members of our community to discuss issues that are important to them.

During these meetings the following issues were raised:

The new cycling laws legislating a safe distances for overtaking and allowing cyclists to ride on the footpath introduced to increase safety for cyclists;

The application by On the Run to extend the trading hours of the Military Road service station to 24 hours; and

Suggested improvements to community assets such as the playground at Almond Tree Flat Reserve.

I will now work with the community and local councils to address these issues.
